Classes & Offerings Available
Lost Skills Classes :
Every generation is skilled at using the technology of its era. For example, people today are very good at driving cars, using smartphones, setting up home entertainment systems, and so forth. The problem is, if an emergency happened that would make technology and all those skills nonviable, what would we do? The skills of our forefathers, on the other hand, will always be useful. Would we have the needed skills to live as our ancestors did?
In Good Vibes Village’s Lost Skills Classes, we’ll take a look at some of these skills from our past that have mostly been forgotten today. If you want to be able to survive in a world where relying on technology isn’t an option, these skills are certainly worth learning.
Skills possibly included in different classes offered – locating a campsite, building a shelter, how to start a fire, purifying water, hunting, fishing, foraging, food preservation, how to milk a cow, butter making, first aid, basic life support, herbal medicine making, hand washing clothes, gardening, candle and soap making, marksmanship, self defense, home birth, natural child birth, using cloth diapers, making cleaning products, driving a vehicle with a manual transmission, avoiding panic, repurposing items and much more.

Sweat Lodge Experiences … coming soon….
The sweat lodge is a Native American tradition where individuals enter a dome-shaped dwelling to experience a sauna-like environment. A Native-American sweat lodge is a ceremonial sweat bath that typically has its roots in Native-American history and culture. Traditionally, it is a purifying ritual that uses intense heat and at times herbs to stimulate vision and insight. The sweat lodge provides a place to pray, a cure for illness, a revitalization for aching muscles, and a sense of racial identity. It provides a safe and secure place, meant to resemble the womb of Mother Earth. The inside of a sweat lodge ideally replicates the warmth, peace, and safety of the womb. Healing Benefits of Sweat Lodge Ceremonies include 1) Mental Healing – it frees the mind of distractions, offering clarity. 2) Spiritual Healing – it allows for introspection and connection to the planet and the spirit world. 3) Physical Healing – it can potentially provide detoxification, antibacterial and wound-healing benefits. Every aspect of a sweat lodge ceremony, from the construction of the lodge itself to the prayers offered, is imbued with deeply spiritual symbolism. Each sweat lodge experience stands alone, unique from previous or future sessions. It is best to have no set expectations. Prior to agreeing to participate in a sweat lodge experience it is good to learn if there is a specific purpose or intention in place. Comfortable and loose clothing is worn in the lodge. Most women wear long cotton dresses, the men wear shorts or sweatpants. It is advisable to bring water into the lodge to stay hydrated. Some people bring their drums into the lodge with them, if they are lucky enough to have one, to beat during the ceremony.

Sacred Circles.
We have been conditioned by our culture to keep ourselves dim, small and taking up the least amount of space as possible. How often do you find yourself shrinking to fit in, to not rock the boat or trying to please others? It’s time for you to SHINE! Let go of judging yourself and beating yourself up, trying to be perfect, and hiding yourself until you feel like you are perfect (which is typically NEVER!) Let go of the fear of hurting others with your power. The power we practice as Awakened Women is EMPOWERMENT, not POWER OVER. Power over another is old model patriarchy, and does hurt others. Step into EMPOWERMENT. Embody the Awakened Woman by practicing self-love, self-acceptance and self-care. Celebrate who you are, what you are up to, and share that with others! At SGH Sacred Circle we offer a safe space to grow and find your strength
